Meet Your Psychologist

I am a Registered Psychologist working with adults to support their social and emotional well-being, drawing on their existing strengths, inner wisdom, and capacity for resilience. As a client-centred, strength-based clinician, I value building authentic, collaborative therapeutic relationships rooted in trust, connection, and a sense of being truly seen and understood.

If you are looking for a grounded, supportive space to process trauma, painful experiences, and life's challenges, I am here to support you. I bring warmth, openness, curiosity, and a touch of humour to our work together. I value connecting with people from all backgrounds, identities, and wonderfully unique ways of experiencing the world. My hope is to create a space where you feel welcome to show up as you are, at your own pace, and without needing to have everything figured out.

Path to Practice

Born and raised in Northern Ontario, I relocated to Nova Scotia in 2018 to continue my work in psychology and be closer to the ocean. Exploring the coastline and immersing myself in nature have always been grounding for me, offering a sense of connection and space to slow down. When I felt ready for a new adventure, Nova Scotia seemed like a natural place to land.

It has long been a dream of mine to establish my own practice and create a space for healing and growth. That dream first began to take shape in high school, where I helped build and lead anti-bullying peer groups and mental health awareness presentations. My own path has been a winding one, shaped by unexpected turns, moments of success and disappointment, lessons, and growth. In many ways, it is this journey that has brought me here.

I think therapy can be much the same. There is no single path or timeline for healing, and I believe there is something meaningful about allowing ourselves to move toward change when the time feels right. Sometimes that pull begins as a quiet curiosity, a feeling that something could be different, or a readiness to begin something new.

My Approach to Therapy

EMDR • CBT • Parts Work • Somatic Strategies

My approach is integrative and trauma-informed, grounded in humanistic and emotion-focused principles. I believe in understanding each person's unique experiences, strengths, and needs, while creating space for greater self-awareness, emotional understanding, and growth.

I draw on evidence-based approaches including EMDR, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), parts work, and somatic strategies. Through attuned connection, experiential work, and practical skill-building, we work to understand how past experiences may continue to shape the present, while creating opportunities for greater self-understanding, balance, and connection with yourself and others.

How I can Support You

TRAUMA • PTSD • DEPRESSION • ANXIETY • ATTACHMENT • ADHD

My focus on supporting individuals experiencing traumatic and PTSD across the lifespan, depression, anxiety, relationship and attachment difficulties, and challenges with sense of self. I also have an interest in supporting individuals with ADHD and their unique experiences.

Experience

Throughout my career, I have had the opportunity to work across a variety of clinical settings, including private practice, community clinics, public mental health services, and correctional and forensic environments. My experience includes providing psychotherapy, conducting psychodiagnostic and psychoeducational assessments, and leading Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT) teams within the public system. I have worked with both adults and adolescents, supporting individuals with a range of emotional, psychological, and behavioural needs.

I'd be honoured to connect.
